PTS.013 : Hitchens – Strange Case EP

Hitchens (aka Pete Kidd) is originally from Detroit and now based in New York City. The producer’s ‘Strange Case’ EP explores the house and techno side of his dark sound. His love of EBM comes through with hard industrial sounds that give his tracks a certain stressful edge. The smooth vocals of Karilynn are there on the first track to sooth you nerves. Strange Case, the title track, features a bit more of a techno element arpeggiating on into oblivion.

PTS.004 : Twoven

Twoven, aka Matthew Aho, has provided three cerebral delights in the form of Physis EP. The meaning of the words Phos, Physis, and Phronesis tell the story of the sounds. Light gives way to Nature, which in turn gives birth to Wisdom. This truly reflects the place in time and space that we all share, on this planet and in the clubs. The deeper feelings in the first track give way to the relentless bang of Physis, followed by a groovy tech house wrap from Phronesis.
