Pure Rave is an experimental electronic noise project from Bryan Dulaney and Nick George. The two are like techno geologists, digging up crazy sounds while throwing traditional 4/4 tools out the window. Both are active in the Detroit music scene as well. Nick provides great Japanese foods under his alias Dr. Sushi, while Bryan is a key figure in the elusive Adult Contemporary.
They will be hosting a show with Pure Rave at Donovan’s in southwest on Dec 22nd!
Premiere for Bale Defoe‘s new tune off our forthcoming 12″ vinyl sampler, Swang 2 The Right. Thanks to Constant Circles for the love! Full article here!
BeatLoaf has returned from the kitchen once again, this time with a couple of delicious electro jack dishes that will leave the taste buds ablaze! His Vyjack EP starts out with ‘Gate Dancer’ which can only be described as smoke and lasers transcribed into audio form. The title track ‘Vyack’ follows it up with a longer mix and a deep vocal sample calling ‘everybody’ to the dance floor.

Peter Croce is the founder and purveyor of fellow Detroit label Rocksteady Disco, and he does a prime job putting together great records and hosting fantastic events.
Most can attest that he has been a strong supporter of the dance scene in the city, recently moving back from Chicago (another great city all the same 😉 and rekindling his much-loved Sermon events with the next feature this Friday at Temple Bar Detroit. RSVP now!
He has provided us with a special mix for our PITSCAST series, recorded live at Hot Mass in Pittsburgh to a very well received party with co-conspirator Pontchartrain!
